About Us

Red Hen Rehoming (RHR) is a small independent charity, with the objective of re-homing excommercial hens which would otherwise be slaughtered Our commitment is always to work legally,
ethically and in the interests of the hens. Our aim is to work with local farms to prevent further
stress to the hens coming out of the farms.
We have no formal connection to any other organisation, although we have good relationships with
many other groups involved in rescuing animals. We value the lives of these birds and are
committed to re-homing them in safe, suitable homes where they can live out the rest of their
natural lives
